Rare & very nice! One of just 10 Pre- War versions of this model, “Shenanigans” is a 1940 Gar Wood 18.5 ft. utility owned for the last 27 years by the past president of the New England Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. Used only in fresh water. stored on a lift and under cover, the boat has a sweet running 115 hp Chrysler Crown. She looks and runs great and remains mostly original except for the addition of a no-soak 5200/epoxy bottom, upholstery, cutwater, and windshield. Besides new bilge paint & carpeting, a 12V conversion was done with electric ignition which not only makes starting a breeze, it also improves peformance – particularly at higher revs. A custom Sunbrella waterline cover and fitted trailer with surge brakes & spare tire are included as well.
